The Saturday and Sunday Blues © & Published 1998-2012 by The Songs of Our Lives Publishing Words & Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Song KEY: E You've got everything to loose, when you get the Saturday and Sunday blues. I said, you've got everything to loose, when you get the Saturday and Sunday blues. If hard luck and troubles hit you on Friday, you got the Saturday and Sunday blues. Friday morning I got up, why not I had nothin' to loose. I went to have some coffee, it had all been used. So I went to take a shower, only cold water came through. I'm afraid to start my car, I’ve got the Saturday and Sunday blues. By the time I got to work, my job was nowhere to be found, the building I worked in had burned to the ground. You've got everything to loose, when you get the Saturday and Sunday blues. So I decided to go back home, found my woman with another man. Let me tell you people they weren’t just holding hands. You got everything to loose, when you've got the Saturday and Sunday blues, Saturday and Sunday blues. You'll know you've lost it all, when you get the Saturday and Sunday blues. I said when you've lost everything there is to loose, you've got the Saturday and Sunday blues.

LICKITY SPLIT Words & Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh © & Published 1998-2012 by The Songs of Our Lives Publishing Song Key: C Lickity split, lickity split, won't you come here quick. Lickity split, lickity split, I won't pull no tricks. Lickity split, lickity split, I can'take it like this. Lickity split, lickity split, I really need a kiss. I've been trying to find you, you got no where to hide. My love is burning, deep down inside. And if I can't find you, I think I will die. I just wanna hold you, here by side. Oh baby lickity split, lickity split, I think I need some kicks. Lickity split, lickity split, I can't get 'em like this. Lickity split, lickity split, you better get here quick. Lickity split, lickity split, I said I just can't quit. I said, first time I saw you, I broke down inside. I feel very foolish, I got nowhere to hide. You know that you love me, and that ain't a lie. Let's get together and share what's inside. I've been tryin' to find you, you've got no where to hide. My love is burning deep down inside. And if I can't find you, I think I will die. I just want to hold you, here by my side. Oh baby, lickity split, lickity split, I think I 'm going down quick. Lickity split, lickity split, I think I 'm gonna get sick. Lickity split, lickity split, I can't take it like this. Lickity split, lickity split, I really need a kiss.

All the way from my head, down to the ground. Into my feet, I think I got the beat, into my hip, I think I got a grip. Movin' all around, I think I feel a sound, I don't wanna stop it right now, that everybody seems to be o.k., rockin' and boppin' across the USA. Every style of music that can get you to your feet. Every kind of music that's got a beat, feel it in my soul, I think I even got control, I don't wanna stop it right now. That everybody's rockin', boppin' and doing it in a modern way. America is a grand land we all say our music is here to stay, yea, yea, yea Now if you listen to the beat, it will get you out of your seat, Jimmy Mack is here to say, our kind of music ain't never gonna die, it ain't never gonna go away. Stones, Stone, Stone, Stones © & Published 1998-2012 By Songs Of Our Lives Publishing Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Words By: J. H. (Prof. Remember) McIntosh Song Key: G Stones, stone, stone, stones. Stones, stone, stone, stones. When you ask some people for bread, if you're all but down and out, they treat ya like the walking dead, nobody wants to help you out. All they wanna give you is stones, they tell ya go out on your own. Well, all they wanna give you is stones, they tell ya go out on your own. Stones, stone, stone, stones. Stones, stone, stone, stones. Then fortune rains down on your head, your future is not in doubt. Now they treat you like the coveted, is that what it's all about. First all they wanna give you is stones. Then they never wanna leave you alone. Well all they wanna give you is stones. No they never wanna leave you alone, lone, lone. I said stones, stone, stone, stones. But there's one exception to the rule, one who'll tell ya i'm no fool. One standup, standby, rock solid, who never runs to hide. Yes you're the exception to the rule, one who knows i'm no fool. My standup, standby, rock solid who's always by my side. Stones, stone, stone, stones. When you're fumblin' around for direction, they tell ya go out on your own. Then hard work leads to perfection, now it's time to bring it on home. First all they wanna give you is stones. Now they never wanna leave you alone. All they wanna give you is stones. Now they never wanna leave you alone, lone, lone. I said stones, stone, stone, stones. Ask some people for bread, they tell ya go out on your own. When you ask some people for bread, all they wanna give you is stones. First all they wanna give ya is stones. Now they never wanna leave you alone, lone - lone. All they wanna give you is stones they never wanna leave you alone. I said stones, stone, stone, stones, help me people. I said stones, stone, stone, stones. I said stones, stone, stone, stones. I said stones, stone, stone, stones.

Wake Up Call 03:39
Wake Up Call © & Published 1998-2012 By Songs of Our Lives Publishing Words & Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Song key: A You never know what's gonna happin' when you wake up. You won't know if the day will bring good or bad stuff. So why not wake up with good things on your mind, you might find out everything's gonna be fine. If it starts out good you might just go along. If it starts out bad you might just sing a song. If it starts out sad you just might still be glad. Tomorrow's another day no matter what goes wrong. You get a wake up call and that ain't all. You get a wake up call and that ain't all. I suggest some good blues tunes will take care of it all. Early in the morning when you get a wake up call. I get up slow i'm evil in the morning. You can't start me talkin' at the break of dawn. Hey, hey birdie can you help me sing my song. Hey somebody give me a wake up call. Wake me up now! Now you can think it over what the night might bring. I won't guarantee it will bring only, good things. But if you keep a clear head maybe things won't be so bad. So if you hear a good blues song just sing along. Sing along with me now You get a wake up call and that ain't all, all right. You get a wake up call and that ain't all. I suggest a good blues song will take care of it all. Early in the morning when you get a wake up call. You get a wake up call and that ain't all, all right. You get a wake up call and that ain't all. I suggest a good blues song will take care of it all. Early in the morning when you get a wake up call. Hear me now! Early in the morning when you get a wake up call. Early in the morning when you get a wake up call.

Good-Bye Blues © & Published 1998-2012 By Songs Of Our Lives Publishing Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Words By: J. H. (Prof. Remember) McIntosh Song Key: B Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. I'm going out today to do a random act of kindness. If we don't change our ways hate will surely blind us. Let's go out of our way and put all our troubles behind us. I'm goin' out today yea, yea to do a random act of kindness. Wouldn't hurt us so bad to think of the ones around us. If we do what's right and put the good-bye blues behind us. Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. Well good-bye blues, good-bye, good-bye blues good-bye so long. I swear right now to you baby I’ll come running on back to you. Just stop doin' those things, those things you should not do. Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. I swear to you baby if you just stop doing those things you used to do. It wouldn't be funny honey to break up our happy home. It would hurt so bad to be all alone. Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. Well good-bye blues, good-bye. Good-bye blues, good-bye, so long. Good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. Well good-bye blues, good-bye blues, so long. Well good-bye blues bye bye. Good-bye blues, good-bye, so long.

Deep Down Inside I Cry © & Published 1998-2012 by Songs Of Our Loves Publishing Words & music by: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Song Key: E In the fall of the evening, when you ain't around, I find myself felling down, oooh, oooh. I'm crushed and crash landed, everything I do for you, what I do for you, oooh, oooh. Early in the morning, just about the break of dawn, my love glows like a good song, oooh, oooh, the love I have for you, it's deep and it's true, and I know I'm feeling down. The love I have for you, it's deep and it's true and I'm feeling down. Ooh, ooh, ooh ooh just about noon time, I feel for you. There ain't nothing I can do, whoa, whoa. Deep in my heart I cry for you, but darlin' you let me down down down down. Deep inside of me, I don't feel so fine. You're not with me any time. No matter how hard I try, deep down inside I cry, wonder if you feel it too, oh baby. Oooooh, oooooh just about noon time, I feel for you, there ain't nothing I can do, whoa, whoa. Deep in my heart, I cry for you but darlin' you let me down down down down. Deep down inside of me, I said I'd feel so fine, to be with you anytime. But no matter how hard I try, deep down inside I cry, how I wish you felt it too. Deep down inside of me, every time I think of you, my love keeps coming through, whoa, whoa. Way deep down inside I cry, way deep down inside I cry and I'm crying over you, oooh, oooh. Deep in my heart I cry and I'm crying you, oh baby.

Telling Stories © & Published 1998-2012 By Songs Of Our Lives Publishing Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Words By: Deidre Lutts Key: G God gave me a mind for telling stories, and my baby she calls them lies. She said, come on home for breakfast. And I find her hanging clothes on the line. She's been smoking my tobacco and the neighbors they got eyes, they know her kids ain't got no daddy and my wife ain't got no prize. He ain't the man he used to be, you can see it in their eyes. They ain't telling stories, and they ain't about to tell no lies. Because god gave me a gift for stories and my wife she calls them lies. She said come on home for breakfast and her eggs they drive me wild. The bacon's in the icebox, and her potatoes are the best home made fries. I told her I found work in Nashville and she knew it was a lie. He ain't the man he used to be, you can see it in their eyes. They ain't telling stories, and they ain't telling lies. He ain't the man he used to be, you can see it in their eyes. They ain't telling stories, they ain't about to tell no lies. But God he gave me stories though the wife she calls them lies I used to know my name, I can no longer tell the time look me up in Nashville, I’ll be sitting with my wine because God he gave me stories, and I’ve told them way past my prime. He ain't the man he used to be, you can see it in their eyes. They ain't telling stories, they ain't telling lies. He ain't the man he used to be, you can see it in their eyes. They ain't telling stories, and there's always a price to lies.

For Crying Out Loud © & Published 1998-2012 By Songs Of Our Lives Publishing Words & Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Song Key: C For crying out loud why you going so fast. Slow down and catch up, catch up to the rest. The world is going pass you, might even harass you, get yourself together, you might catch up to the weather. For crying out loud what is going wrong? Every time you walk out, you walk into a storm. Times are tough, everything got rough, you don't seem to care. Everybody's pulling for you, and you don't wanna share. All the things people can do for you, and you don't wanna try. All the times you let love pass you by, even when it hits you in the eye. All the things people can do for you, you don't wanna try. All the times you let love pass you by, even when it hits you in the eye. For crying out loud, let's not take that drink. Stand up and fight, get right back in the ring, you can show yourself what you're all about. All the people can scream and shout. For crying out loud, for crying out loud, i think you know what it's all about. For crying out loud, for crying out loud, I think you know you gotta scream and shout. For crying out loud, for crying out loud, I think you've found out what it's all about. For crying out loud, for crying out loud, I think you know you gotta scream and shout.

Get Ready For Love © & published 1998-2012 Songs Of Our Lives Publishing Words & Music By: James (Jimmy Mack) McIntosh Song Key: E People like to talk about the things they used to do, and tell you at the same time life is all up to you. We don't know why we love them like we do, and if we go on listening, our love is sure to shine through. People have to find themselves, and find their own way, just like you said they did back in your day. We weren't even born, we still had to be saved we weren't even born, we still had to pay. People get ready for love. People get ready for love. People get ready for love. People get ready for love why do people talk about the things they used to do, and tell you at the same time life is all up to you. We don't know why we love them like we do, and if we go on listening, our love is sure to shine through. They don't care as long as it's the truth. I said now, get ready, get ready for love, people get ready, get ready for love for love. Gonna let loose baby, people get ready, get ready for love for love. All right babe, all right babe, all right. I said, people get ready, get ready for love for love, help me now. People get ready, get ready for love for love. Help me now, help me. People got to, got to get ready for love for love
