This is the title track from the musical score to “Can’t Stop It! – the novel”. This song, along with eleven others punctuate the events that take place in teenager Jimmy Rogers’ battle to break from his father’s belief “life is a cruel joke, barely worth living”. If Jimmy loses this battle he will take his own life and the mystery surrounding the death of his two closet friends, David and David’s girlfriend Cathy will go unsolved.
This song reveals Jimmy may have found something for which he has a real gift, playing guitar and writing songs. That discovery brings him ever closer to a decision to break from his Father’s dismal outlook on life. The title track Can’t Stop It reveals his new found enthusiasm for life.
